Sign #2: Swelling


Swelling, especially in the ankles, feet, and legs, can be a sign of kidney problems. This occurs when the kidneys are unable to remove excess fluid from the body. The fluid buildup causes swelling, known as edema. If you notice unexplained swelling, it’s time to get checked.
